Chrome Extension Privacy Policy

Last updated 21 October 2026

This covers the free Enrichr Chrome extensions: Enrichr Website Inspector, Font Finder, Color Palette and Animation Detector. It is separate from the Enrichr service privacy policy, which applies only if you go on to create an Enrichr account.

The extensions collect nothing. No analytics, no accounts, no cookies, no logging, and they make no network requests of their own. Everything they read stays in the popup on your screen.

What each extension does

When you click the toolbar icon, the extension runs a short read-only check on the tab you are looking at and shows the result in its popup:

It does not change the page and does nothing in tabs you have not clicked it on. Font Finder, and the Inspector's Fonts tab, read the page's visible text only to work out which font draws it, and shows a short sample line in the popup. None of the extensions read form fields, passwords or cookies, and nothing they read is stored or sent anywhere.

Permissions, and why

The extensions request no host permissions, no history, no bookmarks, no storage and no access to your browsing activity.

The one time something leaves your browser

Each popup has a link to Enrichr for a deeper capture. Nothing is sent unless you click it. If you do, your browser opens enrichr.dev and the link carries the page's address so Enrichr can capture it for you. We send only the site and path (https://example.com/pricing), never the query string or anything after a #, because those can hold tokens. Pages on private addresses such as localhost, raw IP addresses and intranet names are never included. The link also carries a utm_source tag saying it came from the extension. From that point the Enrichr privacy policy applies.

Clipboard

The copy buttons write the font name, color or CSS you chose to your clipboard when you press them. The extensions never read your clipboard.

Sharing and sale

We do not sell, share or transfer any data, because we do not have any. The extensions contain no third-party code, no remote scripts and no advertising.
