Privacy Policy

This describes what Enrichr stores, why, and for how long. It reflects what the software actually records rather than a general template.

What we store about your usage

We record the URL of every page you analyse, with the tool used, the credits it cost, how long it took, and when. This is how your credit balance is calculated and your usage page is built.

If the URLs you submit are themselves sensitive — an unreleased site, a staging host, a link containing a token — bear in mind they are retained in your usage history.

Trying the demo without an account

The free preview on the homepage works without signing in. When you use it we record the address you analysed, your IP address and the rough location derived from it, your browser and device type, the page that sent you here (including any campaign tags on the link), a random visitor ID stored in your browser, and what the preview found and whether it ran. We use this to limit each visitor to a small number of free previews before signing up, to stop abuse, and to understand which sites people want analysed and where visitors come from. If you later sign up from the same network, any free previews you already used count toward your account's credits rather than being granted again. These records are deleted automatically after 180 days, and you can ask us to remove yours earlier with the Feedback link in the footer.

The same applies to the free widgets other websites embed from us. There we also record which site the widget was on. The widget sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, so no visitor ID is kept for it.

Extraction results

Captured page content, screenshots and analysis are held only as long as needed to return them to you. Screenshots are pruned automatically, oldest first, and recent run results are kept briefly so a dropped connection can resume. We do not use your extraction results to train anything.

Legal basis and sharing

We process this data to provide the Service you asked for and to bill it accurately. We do not sell it. It is shared only with the infrastructure providers needed to run the Service — hosting, email delivery (Brevo), and a payment processor if you subscribe.

Retention and your rights

Account and usage records are kept while your account is open, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can delete your account and everything above at any time from your account settings — it cancels any active subscription and removes your account, API keys, and usage history immediately.

For anything else — a question about your data, or a copy of it — use the Feedback link in the footer of any page. A real person reads every message.

The Design Lab newsletter

If you subscribe to the Enrichr Design Lab, we keep your email address and the date you confirmed it in our email provider, Brevo. You are added only after you click the confirmation link we email you, so nobody can subscribe an address that is not theirs. We use the address only to send the newsletter, about once a week, and we never sell it or add it to anything else. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works immediately and stops all further newsletter email. Brevo also records whether each email was opened and which links were clicked, which we use to see which issues are read. To have your address removed from Brevo altogether, use the Feedback link in the footer.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies keep you signed in. With your consent we also run Google Analytics and (when enabled) PostHog to see which pages and features are used, so we can fix what is broken. They record page views, clicks on buttons and links, scroll depth, performance timings, and errors. They never receive your email address, the sites you analyze, your API keys, or anything you type. There is no advertising and no cross-site tracking, and we do not sell data.

Referral links. If you open someone’s referral link, your browser keeps the referral code (and nothing else) in local storage for 30 days, so that if you sign up you receive your welcome credits and they receive theirs. We then store which account referred yours. This is part of the service you asked for, so it does not depend on your analytics choice; clear your site data to remove it.

In the EEA, UK and Switzerland analytics stays off until you accept. Elsewhere it is on until you decline. A Global Privacy Control signal from your browser is treated as a decline. You can change your choice at any time: manage analytics cookies. Analytics data is kept for at most 14 months. To have your analytics record deleted, use the Feedback link in the footer and we will remove it.
