<p><a href="https://enrichr.dev/tools/website-font-finder.html">Website font finder by Enrichr</a></p>How do I add the widget to my website?
- Choose a widget and a theme above. The preview is the real thing: try a site in it.
- Copy the code with the Copy button next to it.
- Paste it where you want the widget, in a custom HTML or embed block. Most site builders and blogging tools have one.
- Keep the line under it. The text link is the attribution, and it is plain HTML on your page so it works even if scripts are blocked.

What do your visitors get?
A box with an address field and a handful of example sites. Pick an example and the answer appears at once. Type any other site and the widget opens it in a real browser on our side and reports what it actually loaded and ran, which takes 10 to 30 seconds. Every result ends with a link to the full Enrichr breakdown of that site.
Each visitor gets one free fresh lookup of a site that is not an example. After that, they are invited to create a free Enrichr account. That limit protects the free service, and it is the reason the widget costs you nothing.
What happens to your visitors' data?
The widget sets no cookies and stores nothing in the visitor’s browser, which is a deliberate choice so that putting it on your page does not give you a new consent question. To do its job, it sends the address the visitor enters to Enrichr. We record that address, the visitor’s IP address and browser type, and the site the widget sits on, the same way we do for the free preview on our own homepage. The privacy policy has the detail, including how long it is kept.
Will it slow my page down?
It is built not to. The loader on your page is about 1.4 KB compressed. The widget runs inside an iframe that only loads when it scrolls near the screen, uses your visitors’ own system fonts, and loads no analytics or advertising scripts. Once it is on screen it is roughly 35 KB compressed.
What should I know before I add it?
- The widget is an iframe, so your site’s CSS cannot restyle it. You can pick a theme and a width.
- Like the free tools it is built on, it loads a page as a logged-out visitor, so it cannot analyze pages behind a login.
- It reports what a page loaded and ran, so a page that draws all its text in a canvas will show no font.
If you would rather give readers something to install, the free Chrome extensions (on the Chrome Web Store soon) do the same checks on the page they are looking at, and our guides on finding what font a website uses and finding the colors of a website are free to link to.

FAQ
Is the widget free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no API key and no limit on how many pages you put it on. The one ask is that you keep the “Powered by Enrichr” line in the widget and the text link under it.
Does the widget set cookies or store anything?
No. It sets no cookies and writes nothing to the visitor’s browser, so it does not add a consent question to your page. It does send the website address a visitor types to Enrichr, which is what makes it work.
What data does Enrichr receive?
The address the visitor enters, their IP address and browser type (used to limit abuse), and which site the widget is on, so we can see where it runs. The privacy policy describes it.
Will it slow my page down?
The loader on your page is about 1.4 KB compressed. The widget itself sits in a lazy-loaded iframe and is roughly 35 KB compressed when it scrolls into view, with system fonts and no tracking scripts.
Can my visitors look up any website?
They get one free fresh lookup of any site, and the built-in examples (Stripe, Linear, Vercel, GitHub and more) answer instantly. After that, a free Enrichr account continues it.
Can I change how it looks?
You can choose a dark or light theme and set a maximum width. The widget is an iframe, so your page’s CSS cannot restyle it. That also stops your styles from breaking it.
What if my site does not allow scripts?
Use the iframe version of the snippet. It needs no JavaScript on your side, though it will not resize itself, so give it a fixed height of about 460 pixels.
Is the widget accessible?
It is built to be used with a keyboard and a screen reader: the address field has a label, results are announced, and every control has a name. If you find a problem, tell us through the feedback link in the footer.
Who is this for?
Design blogs and newsletters, agency and portfolio sites, bootcamps and courses, and anyone writing about typography, color or web animation who wants readers to be able to check a real site.
