What 107 top websites are built with: fonts, motion and 3D

We loaded 107 well-known sites in a real browser and counted what rendered. One font is on a quarter of them, Three.js turned up on about one in seven, and most motion libraries are invisible to a single load.

Design advice about fonts, motion and 3D tends to come from a handful of famous sites. We wanted the base rate, so we took the 107 well-known sites in the Enrichr gallery, loaded each one in a real browser, and counted what rendered. Everything below is a count of those sites, with the sites listed so you can check them.

How to read the numbers. Each site was loaded once, on its landing page, between September 29, 2026 and October 14, 2026. The 107 entries cover 103 distinct domains (a few sites appear twice, as a product page and the main site) and are a curated set (design-forward products, creative studios and well-known brands), not a random sample of the web. Fonts are the families that actually rendered. Library counts are minimums: see the limits at the end.

Fonts: Inter leads, and nearly everyone loads a custom font

102 of 107 sites (95%) load at least one custom web font, and the median site loads 2 custom families. System fonts such as Arial, Helvetica and the ui-sans-serif stack are excluded from every count here.

Font familySitesExamples
1. Inter27 (25%)linear.app, framer.com, tailwindcss.com, resend.com, supabase.com, and 22 more
2. Geist7 (7%)vercel.com, neon.com, clerk.com, v0.app, nextjs.org, and 2 more
3. Charlie2 (2%)loom.com, atlassian.com
4. Figma Sans / Mono2 (2%)figma.com, figma.com/sites
5. Inter Tight2 (2%)awwwards.com, awwwards.com/websites
6. JetBrains Mono2 (2%)railway.com, digitalocean.com
7. Martian Mono2 (2%)netlify.com, bun.sh
8. Mona Sans2 (2%)github.com, dribbble.com
9. Roobert2 (2%)render.com, twitch.tv
10. Serrif2 (2%)intercom.com, zapier.com

Inter appears on 27 sites, 20 more than the next family. Families that ship as several named files (Geist Sans and Geist Mono, Figma Sans and Figma Mono) are counted once per site. To find out what any one site loads, use the free website font finder or read how to find what font a website uses, which also covers why the first name in a CSS font stack is often not the font you see.

Motion and 3D: what a single page load can see

79 of 107 sites (74%) showed no animation or 3D library on a single load. That number is mostly a statement about detection, not about those sites. Libraries that are bundled into one minified file, renamed, or loaded after the first scroll or click leave nothing a one-shot check can name. What was detected:

LibraryDetected onExamples
Three.js15 (14%)oryzo.ai, github.com, cloudflare.com, neon.com, raycast.com, and 10 more
Lenis8 (7%)anthropic.com, mistral.ai, dropbox.com, darkroom.engineering, cuberto.com, and 3 more
GSAP5 (5%)gsap.com, anthropic.com, deno.com, monday.com, webflow.com
ScrollTrigger5 (5%)gsap.com, anthropic.com, deno.com, monday.com, webflow.com
Framer Motion5 (5%)framer.com, miro.com, pitch.com, rive.app, cal.com

Three.js is the most-detected library at 15 sites. GSAP and Lenis are widely used on creative sites, so their counts here are the ones most likely to be too low. For a closer look at how a specific site moves, see what animation library a website uses and the animation library checker.

The data comes from the same capture that powers every gallery page, so each site above links to the measurements behind it. Enrichr records only what a visitor's browser can already see; nothing is hosted or copied from these sites.

FAQ

What is the most common font on top websites?

Of the 107 sites we measured, Inter was the most common custom font, loaded on 27 (25%). The next most common families were Geist (7), Charlie (2), Figma Sans / Mono (2).

How common is Three.js on major websites?

Three.js was detected on 15 of the 107 sites (14%). That is a floor: a copy that is bundled or only loads after interaction does not show up on a single landing-page load.

How was this measured?

Each site's landing page was loaded once in a real Chromium browser with Enrichr between September 29, 2026 and October 14, 2026. Fonts are the families that rendered, system fonts excluded. Libraries are detected from the running page. Only publicly visible facts are recorded.

Can I check my own site the same way?

Yes. The free website font finder, colour palette extractor and animation library checker run the same capture on any URL with no account.
